The Night of the Rise is a unique adventure that offers the party an alternative to the "hack & slash" approach. The opportunity for role play is high and it is sure to tap into skills and abilities most of your characters never knew they possessed. Not only does it offer a new experience for your players, but hopefully it has them smiling several times during the night. A request to deal with a bandit captain named Giles Ne'Ville sends the adventuring party on a two-day journey. During this journey, they find an entertaining way to deal with this Giles Ne'Ville. Will they use this opportunity? Or will they take the typical 'hack & slash' approach to dealing with villans? This adventure is written in a non-specific location but is easily insertable into any campaign as a one-shot adventure. I feel that it would work great in Strom King's Thunder as an added traveling encounter.

The Plains of Dorack are generally controlled by the evil mage Faltor the Demented who resides in his magically created fortress. He employs a large number of humanoids as well as humans, and rules out of fear and intimidation. While the powerful mage does not need it personally he finds that having so many minions allows him time for personal research. The Corruption of Alder Glen" is a folk horror adventure that takes place in a small, close-knit town with a strange relationship to their trees. Characters have the chance to get to know the town and its inhabitants while they unravel the mystery of the gravedirt alder and decide how best to save the townsfolk — and themselves. This 5th edition compatible adventure was written for a party of four to six 4th level characters. By the end of the adventure, characters should reach 6th level. The adventure sees the characters pass through the modest town of Alder Glen and witness a bizarre wild animal attack. When they are asked to get to the bottom of these escalating attacks, they uncover a centuries-old bargain with the creatures of the wood.
