A Maze of Tragedy and Mystery. While investigating a mysteriously abandoned mansion, the adventurers stumble into a tangled web of kidnapping, theft and murder. From a mansion with a deadly secret to the blood-stained waves of the high seas and an ancient, cursed citadel, the adventurers face a succession of deadlier and deadlier foes, with the rescue of innocents and the recovery of fabulous treasure as their ultimate rewards. A Family Affair includes a fully-developed town setting, numerous unique NPCs and a wide range of challenging opponents.
The last of his line, Baron Paytro NeMoren has left his dark secret sealed for decades in the family's underground vault. Now, years after his death, a group of stalwart heroes has gathered according to the baron's final wishes. At last, the seal will be broken and the secrets of the vault revealed. Can all sins be forgiven? The adventure is designed to kick-off a campaign, as it provides for an interesting way to get the party together. Instead of meeting at a tavern or being recruited by the local militia, each party member starts with a key to the NeMoren's vault, a key that was handed down by a friend or given as a gift for some good deed peformed in the past. The executor of the estate has gathered together all of the key-holders so that they could claim the contents of the vault. The vault can only be opened with all of the keys in unison. The vault is protected by a number of minor traps and tricks, but it also became the final resting place for the Baron's ex-lover, Lisette, and her brothers--all three of whom had attempted to blackmail the Baron. They were buried alive and are now undead. To complicate matters, a young umber hulk made its way to the vault, leaving some crude tunnels that were later exploited by hobgoblins coming from another surface entrance. The party will need to deal with the hobgoblins, the undead, the traps, and possibly the young umber hulk. There is a side-plot of poisoned groundwater in the nearby town that the party can also resolve by clearing out the undead and properly disposing of the putrid corpses leaking into the groundwater from the vault. Howard, H.P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, and others. A routine recovery job, bread and butter work for any party of sell-respecting adventurers. What could go wrong? A few bugbears aren't going to cause any difficulty, are they?
The Last Point is a prison and outpost of the Corrive Empire, a realm ruled by a cruel green dragon named Lady Corrive. The Corrivians are well known for their hatred of magic users, and their extensive slave trade industry. A forest realm with coasts on three sides and mountains running through the center, Corrive is rich with a variety of resources. However, the rocky northern coast is out of the way of their navy and relies heavily on hired ships to help transport various goods including prisoners and slaves to isolated outposts, training centers, and slave colonies. The northwest coast of Corrive is rocky and many parts of it are elevated, making it isolated from much of the mainland. The Last Point is a recycling center where captives meant for death row who are either deemed “not important enough” to execute publicly or “too disgraceful” to execute publicly are sent to be tortured and then killed. The place seems to operate on sort of a “well, we have too many so some have to go now” policy. The Last Point has no official deadlines for killing.
The Hidden Oasis-Temple of Thoth brings the characters to a hidden temple of Thoth, god of knowledge, magic, and travel, where they are confronted with a force of invading extra-dimensional locust creatures and the chance to get their hands on an ancient artifact. What band of heroes could resist the challenge?
If you but have the will Sonja, you may use your strength to make the world your home. You may become a wanderer, the equal of any man or woman you meet. (The Ring of Ikribu) Red Sonja #1 Steel met steel as Sonja slashed wildly before her. Sparks flew into the air; the mercenary's sword flew to the ground. Her arms vibrated with the contact and her hands grew numb as she tightened her grip on the mighty sword. Still they came - only four in all, but with deadly intent shining deep within theiir hungry eyes. What do these men seek? Why would they rather die than run? TSR 9183
1854. The Compact Has Broken. For seventy-six years, the Colonial Compact of 1778 held together a truce nobody believed in. Then, on March 15, 1854, a labor dispute at the Colt Factory in Hartford became a massacre — and the massacre became a revolution. Five days later, the Continental Congress declared independence, binding the industrial United Northern States and the slaveholding Confederate Southern States into an alliance neither one trusts, against a Crown that would rather see the colonies burn than let them go. Iron & Liberty: The War of the Three is an alternate-history tabletop RPG built on the 5th Edition System Reference Document — no spells, no magical healing, no fireballs. In their place: the Gambits system, a set of trained tactical and social maneuvers powered by Resolve, and a world where a well-placed rifle shot matters more than a spell slot. There is no faction in this war that's purely heroic, and that's the point. This free quickstart includes: * The setting's premise and the Colonial Compact's collapse * The core Gambits & Resolve system, with sample maneuvers across six categories * Six ready-to-play Level 3 pregenerated characters — Sharpshooter, Provocateur, Spy, Rail Rider, Liberator, and Gunfighter — each with full stat blocks, gear, and personal hooks * Full weapon stats for every firearm and melee weapon the pregens carry * Midnight at the Arsenal, a complete one-shot mission: infiltrate a Crown arsenal before dawn, secure a powder magazine, and make a choice with no clean answer — playable in a single session, map included * Full, ready-to-run stat blocks for every NPC in the mission — nothing to look up in another book If you've ever wanted a Civil War that's actually a three-sided war, a revolution where the good guys and bad guys aren't sorted by uniform color, or a D&D-compatible game where your gunslinger doesn't need a spellbook to matter — this is the introduction. The full Iron & Liberty: The War of the Three core rulebook — six classes, nine prestige classes, the complete Gambits system, 27 colonies, and a GM's toolkit for running the three-way war — releases soon from Meridian Worlds. This product is compatible with the 5th Edition System Reference Document (SRD 5.1), released under the Open Game License. It is an independent production and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.

Deep in the wooded wilderness, the village of Grimmsgate is an outpost town on a seldom-traveled trail, right at the edge of nowhere. The village’s half-ruined temple of Law, dilapidated inn, drunken blacksmith, exiled trader and a few fur-trappers are enough to keep the bloody-minded denizens of the dark forest at bay, but nobody really expects the village to still be there in another ten years. The woods have become too dangerous for the trappers who once caught animals for fur, and merchants no longer travel the poorly-maintained road. What great evil and what fabulous treasures are to be found in these lands? A brave band of adventurers might make their fortunes here. Or perhaps they might never return… Grimmsgate is an introductory adventure for the Swords & Wizardry tabletop roleplaying game. The Swords & Wizardry rules are needed to play this adventure.
