Cover of The Obsidian Pass

The Obsidian Pass

Once, we were friends. She used her spells to ward our grove against the darkness in the woods. It was the mirror that turned her mind to covetous thoughts; she saw its power and changed. We have kept the mirror safe for an era, but her soldiers grow strong—and now something makes for our tree we cannot repel. If her aberration reaches the grove, the mirror will be hers, and then we will all know what lies at the tip of the wickedest branches.

Vanst has played this adventure and would not recommend it.

It's incredibly basic. Two pages, with the vaguest idea of a premise and challenge idea. It doesn't include any statistics or new monsters, only a general idea of strategy. It's poorly organized and it seems like two sections got switched around. It's part of a sidequest bundle from Kobold Games--who I've usually had better experiences with--for around $7 for the .pdf version. I think you'd be better served just googling "adventure hooks for high level characters."
